Lily Paquin likes reading, writing, playing the drums, hiking, running, surfing & Taekwondo. She also loves animals, especially her three dogs and cat. Lily has hiked the John Muir Trail, TransCatalina Trail, and part of the Pacific Crest Trail. She also enjoys hiking her local mountains like Mt. Baldy, Mt. Wilson & Cucamonga.
In this episode, Lily tells us about the learnings that she has on mountain summits as a young girl. While on the trails, Lily creates little “tramilies” AKA trail families. We learn a lot about life through nature and hiking. For instance, in nature, we can enhance our spiritual connections as we walk among the plants and animals. Plus, whenever we hike, we test our mental power and physical power.
We have to walk through challenging experiences in life to live the life that we genuinely want. When we go through hard trail times, what do you do? Lily tells herself that it’s one step in front of the other. Whenever you are trying to get through a challenging experience, it’s all about putting one foot in front of the next. Eventually, you will get to the place that you want to be. Stay tuned as we talk about the importance of gratitude and mental fortitude.
