Anxiety and the Road to PEACE: Some how-to’s
Laura Rhodes-Levin, LMFT, therapist and Founder of The Missing Peace Center is the author of the new book, THE MISSING PEACE: Rewire Your Brain, Reduce Anxiety, and Re-Create Your Life. Laura wants to help you understand your anxiety, teach you how to work with it, and embrace it rather than fear it.
According to Laura, who suffered debilitating anxiety for many years, “Anxiety is not what’s wrong with you. Anxiety is what’s right with you. It is an essential survival mechanism. It’s the fight/flight/freeze response in your amygdala, the emotional center of your brain.”

Laura has served as an expert on psychological issues on several outlets and has been seen on KTLA, Good Day LA, Fox News, KCAL 9, KCBS, KABC, and more.
