Everyone loves personality tests. Author and creator of the Youtopia Project, Eric Gee, put a new, more accurate spin on personality typing using his 20-plus years of experience. Want to know if you are a Bear, a Panda, a Peacock, or an Owl, and which animals you’re most compatible with? The Power of Personality, Eric’s new book, outlines 16 easy-to-remember animal archetypes.
Eric says the first question that people ask him is, “Who should I hook up with?” Yup. That’s the first question people ask him when they learn about his super personal approach to personality and better relationships. Find out what you are!
The Power of Personality demystifies the sixteen different personality types by teaching the reader how to identify and appreciate their own unique type and that of others. By re-examining previously held assumptions on personality (extroversion vs. introversion, type-A personalities) the reader will be able to understand a person deeper than the person understands themselves.
Sara and Eric talk all about the animal types and the 4 Packs that all the animal types come under. The Packs include Hunter, Gatherer, Shamans, and Smiths. Every animal from Peacocks to Butterflies falls under one of these. So you may be a different animal than someone but are within the same Pack.
Sara took the test and knows she’s a Peacock. She and Eric talk about these traits and others.
You can use it to understand others in personal and work life, and even to look at some pop culture icons. For example: Eric tells Sara what he thinks Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are and what their compatibility level may be.
Listen to this episode to find out what he thinks, but here is one hint: Travis and Taylor are both probably under the same Pack – so that bodes well. It’s all fun, but as Sara saw, she really fits the Peacock and a few others took the test and there is a lot of truth in animal kingdom comparisons.
Have fun, take the test, give to others, and get to know your “Tribe” even better.
